First Friday Fundraisers

How to make use of Social Media to save time and make money

We all know that using social media is hugely important in this modern world, but keeping all of the social media outlets up to date and correct is a time consuming task right?

WRONG! – At the International Fundraising Consultancy’s First Friday Fundraiser session next month, Roosmarijn Busch, communications specialist, will be explaining ‘How to Make the use Social Media to save time and make money’. Roosmarijn is a communication professional who is specialist in online media, Social Media and community management. She will be explaining the online tools available to help manage your online communication which in turn can save you time and let you be heard above the social media ‘noise’.

We will also be joined by David Berg, fundraiser accelerator who will explain how Social Media can helpyou fundraise when used well. The session is open to everyone in the not for profit sector as well as all Social Entrepreneurs This is your chance to put your questions to the experts and find out about not only keeping on top of social media but also how to get heard and make money.

Open to anyone working in the charity or not for profit sector, First Friday Fundraiser sessions are for you.

 

Each month we cover different subjects which matter. Anything from Social Media to creating your Fundraising Strategy, we want to help. Every month we invite experts to give us their thoughts on the topic with an aim to giving professional insight. This is usually followed by an open discussion and an opportunity for you to ask the expert. We end the session with a social borrel giving an opportunity to network in a relaxed environment.

The sessions are open for everybody, both Hub members as well as non members, to encourage as much cross learning as possible. There’s no fee, no obligation. Just share!

First Friday Fundraisers are part of the series organised and run by the International Fundraising Consultancy. You can also join Facebook’s First Friday Fundraiser’s group and take part in the discussions online with other First Friday groups from London, Ottawa, Milan and Geneva.
